At Grace Fellowship, we greatly value the next generation within our body. We believe we are called to train them up to pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace, along with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart (2 Timothy 2:22). It is our desire to pour into our youth in a meaningful way where they are surrounded by mature believers and family who can provide instruction and love. Our desire to accomplish our goal with youth occurs mainly in two areas: community groups and Bible studies.
At Connecting Point, we want our youth to be involved in the main discussion and prayer time with adults. We believe our youth can be instrumental in sharing their insights but also can and will be blessed by allowing older, mature adults to speak into their lives on a consistent basis. We believe the youth are an integral part of our fellowship and we desire to equip them for the work of the ministry.
We also want to provide strategic opportunities for our youth to have a place where they can discuss issues that are relevant to their culture but with a Biblical worldview in mind. We feel we can best accomplish this through a parent/elder led Bible study that will be held on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of each month. This will be a time where parents and their adolescents or teens can discuss more age appropriate concerns within the context of a more concentrated group of individuals. This will be lead be lead by an elder and/or parent.
